Amy Vainieri (she/her/hers) is a Design leader and speaker in Silver Spring, Maryland, with over eighteen years of graphic and user experience design, operations, leadership, and management experience.

Amy Vainieri bridges strategy, design, UX, craft, and operations to help organizations create exceptional experiences at scale. Most recently, as UX Operations Manager at Indeed, she transformed workflows for 600+ design and research professionals, pioneering an AI in UX metrics framework that measurably tracked deliverable quality and team proficiency.

With over 19 years of experience, Amy combines deep design leadership with operational rigor. She has driven impact for organizations ranging from high-growth tech companies to global institutions, including the Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts, Peace Corps, Cornell University, Doctors Without Borders, and the United Nations Foundation.

A passionate advocate for civic design, Amy was awarded a prestigious AIGA Election Design Fellowship, where she applied strategic design thinking to redesign Oregon's election materials, making democracy more accessible.

Outside of work, you'll find Amy exploring hiking trails with her family or at her sewing machine, adding custom pieces to her wardrobe—all while listening to a podcast.
