Amy Vainieri (she/her/hers) is a Design leader and speaker in Silver Spring, Maryland, with over eighteen years of graphic and user experience design, operations, leadership, and management experience.

During her career as a graphic and user experience designer, Amy has worked extensively in both digital and print, and in both in-house and agency settings. Currently, she is a UX Operations Manager at Indeed.

Throughout her career, Amy has worked with local, national, and global organizations to modernize and improve the effectiveness of their digital properties, print collateral, brands, and communication strategy. Select clients include: Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts, Peace Corps, Cornell University, Doctors without Borders, United Way Worldwide, the United Nations Foundation, and the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation.

Amy has a special interest in election and civil design, and has redesigned ballots and other election materials for Oregon’s state election division while awarded a Fellowship with AIGA.

When not at work, Amy can be found on the hiking trails with her toddler, or hunched over a sewing machine creating something else to add to her wardrobe.
